Laser Loot Box was created by Kim and Garrett from Kim and Garrett Make It to help laser owners explore new products without buying unfamiliar blanks by the case, developing every file from scratch, or beginning every test with a blank screen.
We spend our days creating products, testing equipment, teaching laser makers, and running a working production shop. We also know the less glamorous side of product development: confusing material claims, expensive case quantities, wasted tests, abandoned ideas, and shelves full of products that looked much better online.
New laser owners often wonder what to make next. Established sellers face a different version of the same problem. They need fresh products and new customer opportunities without constantly gambling on large quantities of unfamiliar inventory.
Laser Loot Box gives both groups a more structured way to explore. Every month, we choose a focused product niche, source a coordinated assortment, create exclusive files, test the products, and document what we learn.
Testing a random material sample may be interesting. Testing a coordinated group of products with matching files, starting settings, and a clear customer opportunity is much more useful.
Explore a product category in smaller quantities before investing in cases, bulk packs, or permanent inventory.
Use tested starting settings, compatibility notes, and real observations instead of beginning with blind guesses.
Receive exclusive digital files created for the monthly theme and the products included in the mission.
Consider bundles, personalization, craft-show products, customer gifts, custom orders, and B2B applications.
Identify the products, techniques, and customer ideas that deserve a place in your permanent catalog.
Not every idea needs to become a listing. Discovering what is not right for your business is useful too.
A mission is not assembled by tossing unrelated samples into a box and hoping inspiration strikes. Each one follows a deliberate development process.
We begin with a customer, occasion, product category, or sales opportunity worth exploring.
We select products, materials, accessories, or components that support the same monthly theme.
We develop exclusive digital designs intended to work with the mission and its physical products.
We record equipment, settings, results, compatibility observations, and lessons from the process.
We connect the products to project ideas, bundles, retail uses, and potential business customers.
These are the standards we use when deciding what belongs in a mission and how we talk about the results.
A material or product becomes more useful when it is connected to something customers may actually want to buy.
We provide tested starting points, not impossible promises that every laser, lens, focus, and material batch will behave identically.
Exclusive files are included every month and are created to support the theme, products, and techniques being explored.
Subscribers may create and sell finished physical products using the included files. The digital files themselves remain protected from sharing and resale.
The best result may be a new listing, a stronger technique, a B2B idea, or the confidence to stop investing in a product that is not right for your business.
We test products using equipment available in our working shop and share the machine, settings, and results we observed. That gives you a more informed place to begin.
It does not replace testing on your own equipment. Actual output, calibration, lens condition, focus, maintenance, air assist, ventilation, and differences between material batches can all affect the result.
We help reduce blind guessing. We do not pretend every machine behaves exactly the same.
Laser Loot Box is built primarily for makers who already sell products or want to begin building a product-based business.
