The Plain-Language Version
What This License Covers
This license applies to digital designs, templates, jigs, print files, and other downloadable assets delivered as part of a paid Laser Loot Box mission, unless a specific file includes different written terms.
The license is granted to the individual or business that purchased the mission. It is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited to the uses described on this page.
Commercial use means you may sell finished physical products created from the included files. It does not mean you may sell or distribute the digital files.
Use It Without Guessing
What You May and May Not Do
The dividing line is simple: selling your finished physical work is allowed. Redistributing the design file is not.
Permitted Uses
You may:
Use the files to create finished physical products.
Sell finished physical products made by you or your business.
Resize, recolor, personalize, or modify designs for physical-product production.
Add customer names, dates, logos, wording, or other personalization that you are legally permitted to use.
Use photographs and video of your finished products in listings, advertising, social media, and other business marketing.
Create samples, displays, prototypes, gifts, and promotional products for your own business.
Allow your employees or authorized contractors to help manufacture products solely for your business, subject to the requirements below.
Prohibited Uses
You may not:
Sell, share, trade, give away, or redistribute the digital files.
Upload files to shared drives, groups, memberships, classrooms, file libraries, or design repositories.
Sell modified, personalized, converted, traced, or reformatted versions as digital products.
Include the files in another subscription, course, bundle, template pack, or downloadable product.
Claim authorship of the original designs or register them as your exclusive intellectual property.
Provide the files to another business for its independent use.
Use the files for print-on-demand, mass-production, or outsourced marketplace fulfillment unless you have written authorization from Laser Loot Box.
License Terms
Ownership, Access, and Responsibility
Purchasing a mission gives you permission to use the included files under this license. It does not transfer ownership of the designs.
01
Ownership Remains With the Designer
Laser Loot Box or the identified contributing designer retains the copyright, ownership, and all rights not expressly granted by this license. Your purchase grants usage rights, not ownership of the underlying digital artwork.
02
Access After Cancellation
You may continue using files from missions you purchased, provided you continue following this license. Canceling your subscription ends future billing and access to future missions; it does not revoke compliant use of previously purchased mission files.
03
Third-Party Content Is Separate
This license does not grant rights to third-party trademarks, logos, characters, fonts, photographs, names, or other protected content. You are responsible for confirming that any outside content you add to a design is properly licensed and lawful to use.
04
Mission-Specific Terms Control
A particular file, collaboration, or mission may include additional written restrictions or permissions. When mission-specific terms differ from this general license, the written terms delivered with that file or mission control.
05
Violations End the License
Violating this license immediately ends your permission to use the affected files and may result in account suspension, removal from Laser Loot Box services, or further action to protect the designs and business.
Working With a Team
Employees, Contractors, and Production Help
Your team may help make products for your business, but the files cannot become a free-floating resource that other people or businesses use independently.
Employees
Internal Production Is Allowed
Employees may access files only as needed to create finished physical products for the purchasing business.
Contractors
Limited Help Is Allowed
A contractor may help produce products solely for your business when the contractor does not retain, reuse, distribute, or independently sell the files.
Other Businesses
Independent Use Is Not Allowed
A vendor, production partner, friend, client, or other business may not receive the files for its own catalog, customers, or independent production.
Keep the Files Secure
You are responsible for controlling access to the files connected to your account and business. Use secure storage, limit access to people who genuinely need it, and remove access when an employee or contractor no longer works with you.
Common Questions
Commercial-Use License FAQ
These answers cover the most common practical situations. Contact us before using a file in a way that is not clearly addressed here.
Can I sell products made with the included files?
Yes. You may sell finished physical products that you or your business create using the files, subject to this license and any mission-specific terms.
Can I modify or personalize a design?
Yes. You may resize, recolor, personalize, combine, or otherwise modify a design as needed to create a finished physical product. Modified digital files still may not be sold, shared, or distributed.
Can I send the file to another laser business to make the product for me?
Limited contract production for your business may be permitted when the contractor uses the file only for your order and does not retain or reuse it. Print-on-demand, marketplace fulfillment, or ongoing outsourced production requires written authorization.
Can I use the design for a customer’s logo or branded order?
Yes, when you have permission to use the customer’s logo, name, or other protected content. You are responsible for obtaining that permission.
Can I share the files with a friend who also subscribes?
No. Each subscriber receives access through their own qualifying purchase. Files may not be exchanged, pooled, or shared between subscribers.
Can I sell a digital template after changing the design?
No. Changing colors, wording, layout, format, or other elements does not create permission to sell or distribute the design digitally.
Do I keep commercial-use rights after canceling?
Yes, for mission files you purchased before cancellation, provided you continue complying with this license. You will not receive future mission files after your paid access ends.
What should I do when my planned use is not listed?
Contact Laser Loot Box before proceeding. Written permission may be available for certain partnerships, production arrangements, or special projects.
