Acacia serving boards
Restock the board that carries the collection. Test a generic Gather & Graze design first, then add year-round and seasonal variations.
Cheese sets + seasoning pots
Keep small companion products available so customers can build a pair or add one more piece to a gift.
Acrylic place-card blanks
Restock pre-cut shapes or compatible blanks only after confirming the material, thickness, finish, and heat-forming behavior.
MDF jig stock
Keep the bending jig file and a replacement MDF sheet together. The jig is part of the production system, not a disposable mystery piece.

Napkin rings become more useful when they are sold as a four-pack, seasonal set, or small event order.

CO₂
Strong option for cutting and engraving the MDF and engraving or processing compatible wood surfaces. Confirm any acrylic workflow before cutting.
Diode
Useful for compatible wood and MDF work. The acrylic blanks arrive shaped, so diode users can focus on the bending and personalization workflow instead of cutting clear acrylic.
Heat Bending
Use the provided MDF jig to form the pumpkin and turkey acrylic blanks. Change one variable at a time: heat, dwell, position, or pressure.
Finish + Personalize
Paint, engrave, label, package, and photograph the finished pieces so customers can see the complete table story.
Start With What We Already Know
MDF and natural wood are not new to the K&G lab. Instead of starting from zero every time a familiar material appears, use previous testing as your baseline and verify the result on the material in this box.
1/8" MDF
MDF is used in Mission 009 for the acrylic-bending jig and the napkin-ring sheets. Start from your closest existing MDF profile, then verify the exact batch, thickness, finish, and machine.

Acacia Board and Accessories
Acacia is a natural wood product, so grain, finish, moisture, and coating can vary. Test engraving on an inconspicuous area or comparable scrap before committing the hero board, salt and pepper pot, or cheese set.

Pumpkin and Turkey Acrylic Place Cards
The place cards are a heat-bending project. The laser creates the MDF jig, while the forming result depends on the acrylic, temperature, dwell time, jig fit, and cooling method.
The MDF jig gives the acrylic a repeatable shape so a seasonal place card can become a repeatable product instead of a one-off experiment.
The heat-bending and personalization test cards will be added here as soon as those tests are complete.

Build the System
Cut the jig and one napkin-ring test before committing the full MDF sheets to a batch.
Bend One Place Card
Heat-form one pumpkin or turkey blank, document the result, and repeat only after the shape works.
Document the Offer
Photograph the finished table story, record the price, and decide whether you would make 50.

Work through Mission 009 one product at a time. The goal is a finished sample, a price test, and a repeatable next step.

Finish the Cheese Knife Set
The handle words create a playful detail that makes a useful accessory feel like part of the story.

- Confirm placement and scale on the handles.
- Run a small engraving test.
- Finish and package the set.

Personalize the Salt and Pepper Pot
Small accessories help the customer see how the board becomes a complete table setting.

- Test the engraving on the selected surface.
- Keep the spoon and pot together through finishing.
- Photograph it beside the board.
- Test it as a standalone add-on and paired gift.
Bend the Pumpkin and Turkey Place Cards
Use the MDF jig to make seasonal table markers, names, menus, buffet labels, or small food signs.
- Cut and assemble the MDF bending jig.
- Test one pumpkin blank and one turkey blank.
- Record heat, dwell, position, and cooling notes.
- Add a name or message after confirming compatibility.
- Sell them as singles, pairs, or event sets.
Batch the Napkin Rings
The value is in the repeatable set: a four-pack, seasonal collection, or small event order.
- Choose a fall, holiday, or year-round design lane.
- Test the MDF cut and fit.
- Cut one small batch before using both sheets.
- Finish and bundle as a set.
- Photograph the set in the complete table scene.
Make the Table Sell Itself
Put the board, cheese set, pot, place cards, and napkin rings together. This is where the customer sees the larger opportunity.
